What a crazy year for nonprofits like ours! Many local businesses are hurting, but kids with cancer still need help. So, it takes a team effort. Instead of friends and family giving you another pair of socks or a Starbucks gift card for your birthday, how about asking them to help kids with cancer? Here's how:
Go to your Facebook homepage.
Click "Create" at the top right and choose "Fundraiser" at the bottom of the list.
Off The Charts Club is a cause of the CORE Foundation. Type CORE in the search bar and select "CORE Foundation".
Decide dollar target and duration of your fundraising campaign to help kids be kids. See the bonus prizes below.
Give your fundraiser a title and share why pediatric cancer is important to you. Short on time? You can use this sample.
Click on the edit button in the bottom right and choose your birthday celebration image or borrow one of our photos here.
It's time to click "create" and share your first post inviting all of your friends to donate. This is the exciting part!
You receive notifications when someone donates You can track them here and remember to give them a shoutout!
Update donors on goals and suggest they share or ask their friends to donate.
Get to the goal so kids can be kids!
If you raise $100 or more, we will send you these "Every Mile Is A Gift" Foot Notes. They are a fashionable inspirational statement and a motto for our movement.
If you raise $250 or more, we will make sure you get a signed copy of the Inspiring Stories book published by Loukoumi Foundation and a pair of Foot Notes.
$500 raised earns you the triple play of Foot Notes, a signed Inspiring Stories book, and a gold Fusion Belt - the ultimate lifesaver for keeping your phone and keys while on the go.
Raising over $1,000 shows you could be a valuable team member for helping kids be kids. Of course, we'll give you all the prizes, but we'd also like to meet and hear about your passions and ideas.
